SeibertKeck, Kohl merge
SeibertKeck insurance company of Akron announced a merger with Jack Kohl Agency Inc. of Ravenna. The merger took effect Jan. 1.
The companies said the agreement allows each to expand in a new way. The Kohl agency will remain at its Ravenna headquarters and keep the name. Its real-estate segment will remain a separate business entity known as Jack Kohl Real Estate Agency.
SeibertKeck said it will reach communities outside its existing territory with "a new range of insurance offerings.''
SeibertKeck is nearly 100 years old. The Kohl Agency was founded in 1954.
